The Marvos S Kit comes in a nice box in FreeMax’s signature colors. On the front side we can see the device in the selected color, and just below the name of the specific design variant is duplicated in text form. The logos are also located here. On the sides of the box we can find a list of some distinctive features of both devices, as well as all sorts of codes, including those for checking for originality. FreeMax Marvos S Kit appearance and construction
The Marvos S Kit is a starter kit, if you can call it that, that includes a battery pack of the same name and a maintenance-free Marvos sub-tank. buy vape kits The materials of construction for the former are zinc alloy, leather, and steel, while the latter is made of predominantly food-grade PCTG plastic.
When assembled, the set looks like a typical set-up of a compact box mod and tank, featuring rather moderate dimensions. The sleek Fire button is located on the front of the device. It is made of metal, has a moderately tight stroke and a distinctive click, and presses pleasantly. Below it is vertically placed a modern charging connector of USB Type-C format. On the end part of the device you can find two screws that fasten the case, as well as three ventilation holes and a set of standard inscriptions along with the same familiar icons.
Marvos Pod Tank Atomizer
The kit tank is a hybrid between a classic maintenance-free atomizer and a pod cartridge. The device is half made of metal and half of darkened food-grade plastic, and this tinting doesn’t interfere at all with keeping an eye on the liquid level in the tank. At the bottom of the device there is a knurled ring of blowing adjustment, rotating in a circle without obstacles.
The connector of the device, as it was said, is 510. The device is disassembled by simply separating the upper plastic part from the lower metal 510 adapter.
The vaporizer is secured inside the cartridge by several gaskets, and no additional tools are required to remove it.
In the end part of the cartridge there is a relatively large filling hole, covered with a hinged rubber plug. It is possible to fill the tank with quite a decent amount of liquid – up to 4.5 ml. Of course, before refueling the cartridge will have to be taken out of its place, but this is not a significant problem. Pre-wetting the vaporizer is not necessary, it is enough to wait for a few minutes for the cotton to soak in.
Marvos S boxmod functionality
The boxmod is turned on by pressing the Fire button five times traditionally, showing off its colorful interface. The main screen displays the selected mode, battery charge, power, voltage, resistance, number of puffs and duration of the last one, as well as (for some reason) possible color themes in the form of tiny ovals. Output power can be adjusted with the corresponding keys in the range from 5 to 80 watts without circular scrolling, but with fast scrolling when holding it for a long time. The setting step is 1 watt.
Besides POWER mode, the device also has SMART and bypass modes. The first one automatically selects the output power according to the resistance of the vaporizer with the possibility of manual adjustment. The second, by and large, does the same thing, but you can’t adjust the wattage here. You can switch between modes after clicking three times on Fire with the “plus” or “minus” buttons.
The owner can choose one of five color schemes of the interface design by holding down the Fire and “minus” buttons for one second. Additional features of the local board include resetting the puff counter by pressing Fire and “plus” simultaneously, locking/unlocking the keys (“plus” and “minus” simultaneously), as well as resetting to factory settings (Fire, “plus” and “minus” simultaneously).
The boxmod itself supports charging the battery internally, and fast. This procedure should be carried out with a USB Type-C cable and a current with a maximum strength of up to 2A. The process is accompanied by a dynamic battery icon on the screen. During charging, the device can be used (pastru mode) and the battery is still being energized, as indicated by the flashing icon.
