iSolo Air 2 Mod Battery Pack
Among quite a few vape device manufacturers, Eleaf is one of the oldest, so its devices are always in special demand among vapers. After POD sub-mods became popular on the market, the company started to mass produce them (of course, not as massively as Smok or Voopoo). One of these devices is the Eleaf iSolo Air POD mod kit, which was immediately to the taste of many vapers. Having decided to refine it a bit, the company presented the second version, the refined Eleaf iSolo Air 2 POD mod kit.
If a vaper had to deal with the first version of iSolo Air, the second version will not surprise him with its design, which is almost identical. In any case, the device is quite compact, with rounded edges and corners, with a semicircular one side and a flat second side. The semicircular side is decorated with eco-leather, thanks to which the device sits perfectly in the hand. The size of the device is really small 91.4*33.2*27.6 mm, and the weight is only 108 grams, so the device will not pull your pocket while carrying it.
Eleaf iSolo Air 2 POD mod kit” is powered by a built-in battery with a capacity of 1500 mAh, which is a very good indicator for such a device taking into account the high resistance of the used vaporizers. The battery is charged using the USB Type-C connector on the front panel with 2A current.
This sub-mod is controlled by a fairly simple chipset, thanks to which the vaper will have at his disposal a 1-40 watt variwatt, and the chip has a Smart mode that automatically memorizes the wattage depending on the resistance of the vaporizer. The device is equipped with a small monochrome display, on which the vaper can find a minimum set of information about the operation of the device battery level, vaporizer resistance, number of puffs and power. Control is done with the standard +/- buttons located directly below the display.
GTL Mini Pod 2 cartridge
One of the important features of Eleaf iSolo Air 2 POD mod kit” is that it is fully compatible with cartridges and vaporizers of the first version. The cartridge is held in the battery pack by magnets, and the drip tip is a single piece with the body.
The GTL Mini Pod 2 cartridge is designed to use GTL series vaporizers, and two new Black vaporizers with 0.8 and 1.2 ohms resistance were developed especially for the second version. Naturally, they are compatible with the cartridges of the first version.
The device has a blowing adjustment realized by means of a small slider, by moving which you can open several small holes alternately, thanks to which you can get a full-fledged MTL puff.
To refill the cartridge, simply open the silicone plug on top of the reservoir and pour in 2ml of liquid.
Conclusions and impressions
Despite the small differences of Eleaf iSolo Air 2 POD mod kit” from the first version, we can confidently say that this device will be a real find for vapers who are looking for a small device for a tight cigarette puff. The sub-mod will please with its practicality, ease of use, autonomy and full MTL puff.
