Today we will look at the attempt of the Chinese from Ehpro to create a semblance of a safe mechanical mod.
A few months ago, the Chinese company Ehpro presented a rather curious starter kit called Armor kit. The greatest interest in the “kit” was its lower part, which belongs to the class of pipe mods, which, as we know, are already extremely few on the vaping market. Nevertheless, the above-mentioned kit did not gain much popularity. However, this did not bother the guys from Ehpro at all and just a couple of days ago they presented the Armor Prime Mod – an independent device with some changes.
The new product is a kind of mechanical mod with the only difference that a board is installed inside the device. In any case, the Armor Prime Mod tries its best to resemble a real “mech”, at least by external signs.

The battery is installed in the mod in the usual way for owners of mechanics – using the bottom cover. Judging by the images of its brainchild presented by Ehpro, the threads in the mod are quite large, which will probably have a beneficial effect on the operation of this battery compartment cover.
The Armor Prime Mod can work with two types of batteries: 18650 and 20700 batteries. Interestingly, the previous version of the mod supported the installation of the 21700 format.
The color indicator will help you track the charge level of the battery installed inside. There are LEDs on both sides of the Fire button, the color of which will vary depending on the percentage of charge.
As already mentioned above, the Armor Prime Mod has a chip installed inside, endowed with the standard functionality for such devices and a whole list of necessary protections. But the manufacturer, unfortunately, overstated the minimum resistance threshold in the device. Thus, the device will not perceive atoms with a resistance below 0.2Ω, which does not tell us about the most impressive performance indicators, since the output power of the Armor Prime Mod will directly depend on the resistance.
