In this review, I will talk about long-lasting disposable GUN for an impressive 4000 puffs from the manufacturer of GUN PODS devices.
The GUN PODS Company is quite young, but has already successfully released and sells three types of disposable disposables (GUN 1200, GUN 2000, GUN 3000 Unlimited) and a line of salt liquids with the same name GUN. In the near future, two more series of disposable electronic cigarettes will hit store shelves – GUN 4000 and GUN 5000. We will talk about the latter in the next review, but about the model for 4000 puffs – right now.
Review of disposable GUN 4000
The GUN 4000 disposables are packaged in fairly compact boxes made of black and velvet-to-the-touch cardboard with a barely noticeable camouflage texture. The designers made the central logo in the form of the inscription GUN stylized after the cartridge in gold and metallized, and the name of the flavor written below and on one of the ends was varnished. Both valves are distinguished by their unique pattern. e-cigarettes online boutique in new zealand And although they do not have the name of the taste, you can distinguish one from the other quite easily, all thanks to the color marks unique to each mix.
Right there, on the front side, the main features of the model are listed (they are also on the second end of the package). The back of the box is densely filled with small but readable letters and certificate icons. Taking a closer look, you can see not only the name of the taste in Russian, but also other, certainly necessary and useful information (characteristics, composition of the liquid and restrictions on its use, storage conditions, addresses of the manufacturer, importer and the Russian representative office of the company).
Inside the package, taking up almost all the free space, is the disposable product itself, additionally hidden in a branded bag with the logos of the line and manufacturer. Protection against dust getting into the mouthpiece is made in the form of a familiar silicone plug, and the stick is protected from accidental activation during transportation by a small round sticker with the inscription OPEN, applied just above the TYPE-C connector.
GUN 4000 – design
Disposable GUN 4000 can easily deceive a person who has never seen them before and make them confuse themselves with some kind of pod. Due to the plastic case with rounded edges and the asymmetrically located mouthpiece protruding from the top, the impression of a more serious and advanced device is created. The matte “soft touch” coating also adds a deceptive impression, and the final finishing touch is the print, made with such relief embossing that it seems voluminous.
Upon closer examination, we find not a replaceable cartridge at the top, but a monolithic mouthpiece, at the bottom there are several holes in the form of a crosshair (behind them hides a blue LED and a noise sensor, from which the device turns on during a puff) and a USB Type-C charging connector.
The charging current is very modest, only half an Ampere with a discharged battery and about 0.3-0.4 A during the main charging time. Taking into account the battery’s own capacity, a full charge occurs in about an hour and a half.
Testing and tastes of GUN 4000
You can compare and evaluate the size of disposable GUN 4000 with common things (AA battery, credit card or 5 Ukrainian kopiya coin) in the photo above.
Inside each disposable device there is a battery containing a reactive alkali metal – lithium. Such batteries should not be thrown away with household waste, but should be taken for recycling or special disposal.
GUN 4000 – SUMMER LEMONADE
The aroma is sweet and difficult to identify, it smells like a bouquet of berries and a little soda. The taste on the inhale is delicate and seems more raspberry-lemon than blueberry. A deep puff already has the taste of slightly tart, or even dry, blueberries. However, during exhalation, juiciness returns to the senses, and with it a slight sour taste. Then the raspberries, combined with blueberries, remain in the aftertaste for a long time, forming a rather calm, but extremely pleasant taste for daily vaping.
GUN 4000 – EXOTIC COCKTAIL
I’ll start with emotions that have not been confirmed for you. Tasty! But there will be practically no details. Well, I can’t make it out, and the main thing is to identify the individual components, they are too specific. Maximum watermelon on the exhale, and a slight taste of lychee in the aftertaste. Everything else is woven under a thick and sweet layer of pitaya unknown to me.
GUN 4000 – TROPICAL KIWI
The aroma is really sour, it smells like not fully ripened kiwi and quite a bit of pineapple. The taste is both sweet at the beginning and with a noticeable sour note during a deep inhale. As you exhale, that same kiwi reveals itself to the maximum, and it also makes itself felt in the aftertaste, albeit in half with pineapple. As a result, the mix turned out to be quite simple on the one hand, and pleasant and sour on the other, something that definitely won’t get boring after 4000 puffs.
GUN 4000 – ORANGE
The smell of tangerine rushes into the nostrils immediately after opening the protective bag. Bright, powerful and strong. With sharp citrus notes and the anticipation of sweet pulp. On inhalation, expectations are fully justified; the moderately sour and notably sweet pulp of orange-red tangerine is replaced by a barely tart sensation of zest during exhalation. I can describe the aftertaste as “sparkling”; you probably experienced something similar after biting into a real fruit. A little more cooler would be here and it would be generally wonderful, until the sudden appearance of New Year’s mood in the middle of summer!
GUN 4000 – CITRUS MIX
Another citrus, this time more complex and less predictable. It has an “average” smell; juice, jam, and even some carbonated drink can smell the same. The taste on inhalation is defined as a mixture of lemon pulp in powdered sugar, then during a deep puff it changes to the sensation of bitter grapefruit, and during exhalation associations with lime marmalade come to mind. The aftertaste is long, well sweet and almost non-acidic, but still citrusy.
GUN 4000 – GUMMY BEAR
The smell of this stick is not the most intense, although real candies are not that fragrant. Before the first puff, it’s almost impossible to guess what you’ll be vaping without seeing the name. Then, of course, recognition comes instantly. The inhale taste is slightly cool and has a subtle taste of almost unsweetened marmalade. A deep puff will delight you with a sharply emerging fruity-candy taste, and during exhalation, jelly bears will be unrecognizable only to those who have never tried them. The aftertaste was surprising; it didn’t look like marmalade, but like a mixture of root beer and menthol. Although neither the first nor the second seems to be in the composition.
GUN 4000 – STRAWBERRY BANANA
One of the most popular mixes is a mixture of strawberries and bananas. There are more berries on the inhale, but during the exhale they are hidden behind a thick banana and even somewhat resinous aroma. The taste is well balanced, both delicacies complement each other and do not particularly stand out during any of the moments of vaping. The aftertaste gives preference to the banana base, but remains strawberry-sweet.
GUN 4000 – ALOE VERA MANGO
The smell before the start of vaping, which is completely mango, cool and juicy. On inhalation, the taste begins with a chill, then reveals a wave of honey-spicy sweetness, turning into rich mango tones. A deep puff has a noticeable herbaceous note, which is exactly what the aloe gives here. On the exhale, in addition to pleasant sourness and another portion of amber pulp, you can feel a moderate chill from the cooler, and only at the very end – and then in the aftertaste – a subtle aftertaste of aloe. An unusual combination, I would like a little more aloe, but it’s still very, very pleasant.
GUN 4000 – CANDY FLOSS
The aroma and taste of this direction is completely incomprehensible and alien to me. Something sweet and barely fruity. It steams easily, but as such has no taste of its own. Perhaps fans of cotton candy will now anathematize me, but, sorry, that’s not my thing. That’s it.
GUN 4000 – LEMON CANDY
I first read the English name, took a couple of puffs, and then read the Russian description. I can’t even roughly think of what or who made the translator write about baked lemon instead of the short and succinct “lemon caramel.” This is it, 100 percent. Slightly sour, caramel-sweet and with milky tones during exhalation. Aftertaste with a weak but tart zest taste at the beginning and a long-lasting caramel taste in the remainder. Very tasty, ready and I will vape non-stop until the nicotine makes me dizzy. And then a couple more puffs on top.
GUN 4000. Personal impressions
The aggressive name, coupled with the interesting and not yet familiar design of the case, gives a positive impression upon first acquaintance. The plastic case is lightweight, and overall the dimensions are small. The disposable rifle can easily fit the rear sights in your fist and can be put into any pocket without any problems. This form factor is definitely a plus, especially compared to felt-tip pen-shaped competitors. The second plus in karma is for the strict color scheme, after all, colorful and glowing sticks are already quite boring. Well, and the third for understandable, but sometimes non-standard combinations of flavors and rich taste.
Personal top of the GUN 4000 line:
Lemon Candy – caramel with lemon, this is enough to win.
Aloe Vera Mango – if it had more aloe, it would have taken first place.
Citrus Mix – I love sour things.
Orange is a gorgeous tangerine.
Exotic Cocktail – unclear, but delicious.
Strawberry Banana is a timeless classic.
Summer Lemonade is good for every day.
Tropical Kiwi – simple, but not boring.
Gummy Bear is second to last place simply because the rest are taken.
Candy Floss is just not my thing
