Today we will look at another interesting disposable device from the Chinese company ALD Group – the compact and long-lasting CUBE BOX 2500.

All the devices came to me in absolutely identical blue and white boxes with a large black and white warning about the dangers of nicotine, which causes addiction. On the front side there is an image of the device (far from accurate), its name and the approximate number of puffs. On the back is a list of important characteristics, liquid composition, warnings, precautions, details and address of the manufacturer, as well as contact information on how to contact ALD Group managers.
There is no indication on the box itself what kind of flavor is included in the one-time use (I already explained the reason in the review of BOOM MAX 3000), the name of the mix is pasted in the form of a regular paper sticker on a sealed cellophane package. moti vape There are small notches on the top of the bag that allow you to get to the device without any cutting tool.
Appearance and design of ALD CUBE BOX 2500
Here, the developers from ALD used another popular form – a small box with a protruding mouthpiece, practically replicating a “full-fledged” vape in the form of a box mod. Due to the flattened body, such a device fits easily into any pocket and does not cause the slightest discomfort. What else can we talk about, if even among the “normal” vape setups, it was the rectangular shape that almost unconditionally defeated all other formats. But there is still more variety in disposables.
Among the samples that came into my hands, two types of CUBE BOX 2500 can be distinguished. The first, shown in the photo on the left, is a smooth glossy case, clad in a silicone drain with a relief “wave” and a small lanyard eye. Unfortunately, the lanyard itself is not included in the kit; it also does not appear on the manufacturer’s promotional materials. The second type is with a skull, the inscription CUBE BOX and a protective cap covering the mouthpiece. In fact, the images and relief on the silicone, and the inscriptions on the case can be anything, it all depends on the wishes of the customer. Mine have only a modest manufacturer’s logo, not even the flavors are labeled.

The manufacturer offers a choice of 24 mixes, which can be filled into disposable CUBE BOX 2500. The choice is quite wide, there is even something sweet and tobacco, judging by the name Cuban Cream. Unfortunately, out of all this variety, I only got five to try.

If the device does not have a protective cap that extends from the drain, then the new disposable disposable will still be covered with a stopper on top, which will prevent the liquid from eroding and leaks inside the package during transportation. The protection from below is much more solid – it is a wide silicone pad that covers the entire lower part of the case with a charging connector, an LED and a tiny air intake hole. As you can see, there are no controls anywhere on the body; the electronics are triggered by a sensor that responds to tightening. We pulled air through the mouthpiece and got aromatic vapor. You won’t be able to adjust the puff either, it’s made from cigarettes.

The mouthpiece of the CUBE BOX 2500, which is one piece with a glossy body, is flattened and has a small round hole through which steam escapes. It is convenient and pleasant to use, and the mouthpiece does not heat up during use. In short, it does not cause any negative emotions. And, by the way, I personally liked the disposable version with a protective cap that dangles on a small leg more than the “neck lanyard” option. Simply because in it the liquid will evaporate more slowly, and the steam line will not become clogged with debris and dust.
Charging the disposable ALD CUBE BOX 2500
The device has a modern and up-to-date USB Type-C charging connector, which is used in almost any electronics today (and according to some rumors, soon even Apple will be required to switch to it). Despite the format, the charging current turned out to be very small, only approx. 0.4 A, i.e. The charging process will be long, taking more than an hour. And given the lack of pasta support – you can’t hover while replenishing battery energy – it’s also dreary.
Flavors ALD CUBE BOX 2500
As I mentioned above, I only got my hands on five of the 24 flavors of CUBE BOX 2500 disposables, so I’ll tell you about what I tried.
Inside each disposable device there is a battery containing a reactive alkali metal – lithium. Such batteries should not be thrown away with household waste, but should be taken for recycling or special disposal.
ALD CUBE BOX 2500 BANANA ICE
The smell from the device is banana-gum, like sweet fruit chewing gum, with a noticeable hint of starch. But without any chemicals or dangerous resemblance to a solvent, which is often the problem with liquids containing bananas. The taste is the same sweet, rich, dryish on the finish and with a large portion of cooler on the exhale. Immediately, a ghostly note of creamy ice cream appears in the pair, which is why the composition sometimes turns into either fruit ice mixed with ice cream, or into a popsicle in fruit glaze.
ALD CUBE BOX 2500 CHERRY GRAPE
The grapes smell bright, juicy and very rich as soon as you tear open the package, but there is no trace of a second berry in the smell. The cherry appears only in the puff, and even then it can easily be mistaken for the juicy middle of a grape, which has a distinct taste of tart skin and seeds. And, naturally, with a decent portion of the cooler on your throat, gradually penetrating your brain with each new puff. If it had just said Grape, the mix wouldn’t have lost anything. Simple and straightforward, but very tasty.
ALD CUBE BOX 2500 PINEAPPLE ICE
Here you can hear a candy-like, even more lemonade-like pineapple, which has both caramel notes and a slight hint of freshness. When inhaling the vapor, the taste is slightly tart, sweet and sour and cold; the aftertaste, just like the smell, manages to combine both the sweetness of banal fruit caramels and the taste of fresh pineapple pulp, almost “alive” perceptible after every puff . Here the cold no longer seemed so intense, and the whole mix reminded me of sweet, chilled pineapple nectar.
ALD CUBE BOX 2500 RED BULL
You can either love or hate this taste, but you can recognize it immediately – a real caramel-sweet and slightly sugary energy drink. In the puff, the impressions are exactly the same, except that in pairing the mix already acquires sourness, a slight tartness on the tongue in the aftertaste, and familiar notes of soda with invigorating ingredients. The taste is very authentic and will please true connoisseurs. But I’m not a fan of energy drinks.
ALD CUBE BOX 2500 WATERMELON ICE
As in the case of pineapple, both the sweet notes of watermelon candy and the fresh aroma of real watermelon manage to coexist here at the same time. The taste of the pair also pleases with a well-balanced cooler, which further enhances the impression of natural watermelon pulp, which you sit and cunningly pick out from the middle of the green giant. There is a hint of thick striped peel, and even a quickly disappearing sourness, but there is no bitterness or excess sugar. In general, in my opinion, this is the most delicious of the five mixes tested.
Impression
The CUBE BOX 2500 disposables look great, work flawlessly (as far as I can tell from the samples I received), have a tight, adequate tightening, are slow and boring to charge, but still boast rich and vibrant mixes. What I would also like to separately note is the interesting design using silicone pads, which perfectly improve the grip in the hand, but at the same time just as easily collect dirt and lint from clothes. However, no one is stopping you from removing this “drain” (there is nothing underneath it except the body), washing it and putting it back on. Of course, if you haven’t steamed the liquid to the end yet.
