GeekVape Zeus X Mesh RTA tankomizer designed for the installation of mesh heating elements, with a top airing, reduced evaporation chamber for maximum flavor and bulk. Externally the new tank looks exactly the same as the familiar Zeus X, so it is very easy to mix it up if you don’t look at the bottom end, which says Mesh. The atomizer uses a top air intake, which goes into the evaporation chamber with an additional dome with holes. A feature of the tank is the base, designed to use mesh, which improves flavor transfer and bulk. Appearance and design
When GeekVape released the Zeus X RTA last year, it didn’t just offer vapers a really tasty tank, it made some revolution and made many vapers appreciate the top blowing. It would seem more interesting than Zeus X RTA, it is difficult to come up with something, but the developers of the company decided to improve it (good or bad time will show) and offered GeekVape Zeus X Mesh RTA, which will definitely be appreciated by fans of taste and bulk.
The GeekVape Zeus X Mesh RTA looks almost the same as its predecessor. The only minor changes were the notches on the top lid and the base of the tank, they became a little deeper, making it more convenient to disassemble. Diameter of the tank remained the same 25 mm, so it will fit most box mods.
The tank comes with two 810’s drip tip without any O-rings, and one of them is standard, and the second with a low profile. Depending on vaper preference, you can use either a standard 2 ml straight glass or a 4.5 ml bubble glass.
Case, airflow and usage features
Naturally, the main feature of the GeekVape Zeus X Mesh RTA is the base, designed to fit a mesh. But don’t expect anything surprising and non-standard from the base, the same base was used by many manufacturers that have in their range of atomizers on the mesh.
The base is implemented by means of two pressure plates, for pressing which there are two screws. The installation process of the grid is very simple, the grid is bent in a radius (for this purpose there is a special device, in fact, a plastic cylinder of optimal diameter) and its ends are clamped by the plates.
In the center of the base has a spring-loaded insert, the purpose of which clamp the wool to the mesh. For laying absorbent cotton there are large enough holes, in which it is not difficult to lay it. It is not necessary to lay the wool very tightly, otherwise starvation of the heating element cannot be avoided.
The availability of a small internal dome with small holes, installed over the mesh, will allow you to get the brightest flavor and excellent bulk. Blow adjustment is done with the ring located at the top of the tank.
To refill the GeekVape Zeus X Mesh RTA you need to remove the top cap (it unscrews half way and removes) and pour the liquid into the two large holes.
Conclusions and impressions
The GeekVape Zeus X Mesh RTA is essentially a slightly modified Zeus X in which the base has been changed. By using mesh the vaper is guaranteed to get Excellent flavor and scent, which is exactly what many vapers who have not yet given up on classic tanks and are not afraid to install the mesh and lay down the absorbent cotton on their own.
